  1. “We spend money we don’t have and blithely mortgage the future with a wink and a nod. Screw the next generation.”
“It’s about getting credit now, lookin’ good for the upcoming election.”
Simply put, it’s everything that is enraging Americans about their government’s dysfunction and why Trump is getting so much attention.

Exactly! But the problem is not new — CONgress has been that way since @ least 1950 & the last guy to tap into the underlying vein of anger was Reagan. He said, “Government can’t solve the problem, government IS the problem” — and the crowd went wild.

People today have such short attention spans that Trump, or anyone else who wants to capitalize on that “underlying vein of anger”, will have to keep reminding the public what a cesspool Wshington D.C. (district of criminals) is. I’ve heard some folks say, alright Donald, that’s enough — I’ve heard that 100 times — and if I were him I’d say Yeah, and you’re going to hear it @ least 100 more times. Think about it — folks get really upset about something really stupid CONgress did, but ask ’em 2 weeks later what they were so upset about & they won’t remember. Borrowing a slogan from the Carolina Panthers, “Keep pounding !!” Don’t let the public forget why they’ve been so upset with CONgress & government in general for so long.

Many people think it’s Trump’s brash personality that has propelled him to the forefront, but I think anyone who is not “politically correct” and not afraid to tackle an issue head on could do the same. Trump is just the guy who decided I’ll take on this challenge since nobody else has. Love him or hate him, it doesn’t matter — the fact that he’s saying what so many people believe but won’t say out loud does.
